Every Thursday we will ask for proof of grades.
This was implemented last year as we emphasize the Student before Athlete.
HPWA will do whatever possible to assist each wrestler with getting a good start into life by making sure education is a priority.
Once the wrestler has reached their Junior year in High School we begin discussions about colleges & other choices to assure each wrestler has a plan after high school.
This concept is borrowed from Daryl Weber, Iowa Hall of Fame Coach & Most Winning Coach in Virginia out of all sports, and have followed his direction on how to achieve the highest level of success for his athletes.
You will hear often that “success leaves clues” and that’s what we do, we follow the clues of the best.
